Behind the camera
Why I photograph landscapes.
I'm Kwame Asiaw, the photographer behind KWA Photography. I'm a landscape photographer based in Lancashire, photographing the Lake District, Scotland, Snowdonia, and beyond. I photograph landscapes because they remind me to slow down.
Some journeys are remembered because of the view. Others because of the people you shared them with.
This collection is both.
The mountains, coastlines and quiet woodland places gathered here are less about collecting locations than noticing what light, weather and time reveal. I make photographs to hold onto that feeling, and to share a little of it with anyone who pauses here.
